Filter with AI

Curate Your Data Using Copilot

Copilot makes it easy to curate your traces for datasets with four skills available through the filter bar. You can leverage our semantic search skills to search within either a single column or multiple columns. Copilot will surface all the matching spans for you. If you're unsure what to filter or have questions about your data, Copilotโ€™s LLM analysis skill provides a lightweight analysis and can suggest filters. Copilot can also help construct a query filterโ€”just use the command "filter by" and describe the filters you'd like in natural language.

How-To

  1. Access the query filter bar at the top of the Tracing page.

  2. From the filter drop-down, enter your search criteria in the Mini Chat input bar, e.g.:

    • "frustrated user inquiries"

    • "traces that are about pricing and hallucinated"

    • "filter for LLM span kinds"

    • "what are the top patterns in my inputs"

  3. Copilot performs the following actions:

    • Conducts a semantic search on your data, returning the number of rows retrieved along with a summary.

    • Constructs a query filter.

    • Performs analysis and returns suggested AI search queries.

  4. After generating results, you can input different search criteria in the chat to refine the outcomes.

  5. If you're satisfied with the results, click "Filter for Matching Spans" to apply the filter to your traces or use one of the suggestions.
