Quickstart: Copilot

Copilot Availability: Whenever you see the ✨ icon, Copilot is available to assist you. Look for it in various parts of the Arize platform, such as the filter bar, task creation modals, and other key areas where AI assistance can enhance your workflow.

Arize Copilot is an assistant designed to help ML and AI engineers root cause and improve their applications through a simple chat interface. Copilot takes the lift and guesswork out of improving applications with a variety of skills and tools available to users integrated directly into the Arize platform.

Getting Started with Copilot

Arize Copilot is integrated into the Arize platform to assist you in improving your machine learning and AI applications. Here's how to get started quickly:

1. Access Copilot:

   • Navigate to a model within the Arize platform. Click the Copilot icon located at the bottom right of the screen to open the chat interface.

2. Explore Interaction Modes:

   • Chat Mode: Use the full chat interface for in-depth interactions. You can type in prompts, select from a quick action, or use the slash menu to access key functions.

   • Mini Chat: Available throughout the platform via the ✨ icon, Mini Chat offers Copilot's capabilities in specific workflows such as AI Search, Task Eval Builder, and more.

3. Using Copilot:

   • Start with simple queries like "Show model performance" or "Optimize my prompt."

   • Use Mini Chat within the filter bar for tasks like semantic searches, or in the Task Eval Builder to create custom evaluations.

   • Access your chat history to revisit past conversations.

4. Pro Tips:

   • Use the slash menu in Chat Mode to explore available commands.

   • In Mini Chat, look for the ✨ icon across the platform to enhance your workflow.
